An adventure game about history of video games, made with Flash.

You are Alex, a teenager living nowadays, who fall asleep while playing video games.
And so he begins to dream.
In his dream he is sent to the beginning of the history of video games, and he'll have to travel trough the history of video games to be back to nowadays.

The game has been splitted in 5 graphicaly different periods, matching the video games evolution.

It is a "Point&Click" adventure game, like the famous Lucasarts' and Sierras ones, so you'll have to dialog with many important characters from the history of video games, you'll be able to play mythic games, to read an encyclopedia if you want to learn more about any topic...

This game, with its website (http://xoubisite.free.fr), is my multimedia high-school end-of-studies project.
We (my teammate and myself) wrote a full game scenario, and we made a demo version of the game with a part of the 3 firsts periods.

I mainly did the whole programming/integration job (including dialogs writing) for the site and the CDRom, and I also redrawn and colorized a part of the drawings.

I created for this project a real Flash adventure game engine (which also run the game "Phil Defer and the Quest for a Yoda"), featuring external dialog files (which comes along with a very basic script ability in order to link the sentences), a template to quickly build the many scenes of the game...

You can download or play online a demo version of this project on its website (click on the arcade cabinet in the left room).
